5 Helpful Benefits of a CRM

A Customer Relationship Management platform, or CRM for short, can assist real estate agents in many ways.  Below are 5 examples of why a CRM may be beneficial to you.

1. Database of contacts & transactions all in one place- A CRM will store the contact information as well as other pertinent facts about your Sphere of Influence (SOI), current clients, past clients, and incoming leads all in one place. A good CRM will also incorporate some type of transaction management to avoid having to log into multiple platforms.

2. Segmentation capabilities- Being able to identify groups of people based on their similarities is crucial. As an example, being able to create a separate list of your family, neighbors or book club members will help you communicate with them efficiently. You can send an email or text to everyone in the group all at once, rather than sending the message separately to each member of the group.

3. Task management with reminders- Setting tasks with auto reminders in your CRM will help you manage your time & workflow with minimal effort and can go a long way to keep you organized. With task at-a-glance lists, you can focus on your daily priorities. Most CRMs allow for sorting tasks by the current day, week, or monthly. Some even allow you to switch from list view to a calendar view.

4. Automation- Set it & forget it! If you take the time to set up meaningful automation, your CRM will automatically send emails and/or texts periodically to your contacts. This is an especially helpful feature for sending home anniversaries well wishes or holiday greetings, and imperative for lead follow up.


5. Free up your time- Using your CRM for automation, organization, & task management will ultimately save you time as you work more efficiently, thus increasing your free time for whatever makes you happy!
