A Customer Relationship Management platform, or CRM for short, can assist real estate agents in many ways. Below are 5 examples of why a CRM may be beneficial to you. 1. Database of contacts & transactions all in one place- A CRM will store the contact information as well as other pertinent facts about your Sphere of Influence (SOI), current clients, past clients, and incoming leads all in one place. A good CRM will also incorporate some type of transaction management to avoid having to log into multiple platforms. 2. Segmentation capabilities- Being able to identify groups of people based on their similarities is crucial. As an example, being able to create a separate list of your family, neighbors or book club members will help you communicate with them efficiently. You can send an email or text to everyone in the group all at once, rather than sending the message separately to each member of the group. 3. Task management with reminders- Setting tasks with auto reminders in your CRM will help you manage your time & workflow with minimal effort and can go a long way to keep you organized. With task at-a-glance lists, you can focus on your daily priorities. Most CRMs allow for sorting tasks by the current day, week, or monthly. Some even allow you to switch from list view to a calendar view. 4. Automation- Set it & forget it! If you take the time to set up meaningful automation, your CRM will automatically send emails and/or texts periodically to your contacts. This is an especially helpful feature for sending home anniversaries well wishes or holiday greetings, and imperative for lead follow up. 5. Free up your time- Using your CRM for automation, organization, & task management will ultimately save you time as you work more efficiently, thus increasing your free time for whatever makes you happy!
Read More The Value of Having Your Headshot as a REALTOR®
When it comes to your image as a real estate professional, a photo can be crucial to helping build brand and business awareness within your community. One of the main questions I get asked more often than any other from agents, especially for brand enhancement, is usually... "Does a headshot really matter"? If you're an investor, it's probably not crucial for your business, since it's more behind the scenes activity and not engaging with leads or prospective clients. A picture is still great to have just in case you'd like the option. Now, if you're a full-service agent, this might be a very different story altogether since you will be marketing yourself to potential sellers, buyers, and investors. Some of the advantages of having a professional profile shot include the ability for first-time clients to recognize you when meeting for an introduction or even an open house. Another important reason is that, when it comes to digital marketing, a photograph can help your advertising efforts stand out more. Using a "selfie", in my opinion, ...it's better to have a photo than not. If you feel this would work, then by all means, yes. Choose a location that has a warm background, either indoors or outdoors Be sure to look directly into the camera Find the best pose that works for you, possibly forward facing or side angle Always take the photo in a well-lit area... the brighter the better!
